Then I could just filter to the parents with no clones.\ Using latest FB Alpha v0.2.97.30 source, adapted to compile as libretro (romset is synched with MAME v149). I worry that it might not copy everything I need. I don't really know what lightspeed does with merged/split roms.Hopefully I can do all my filtering in this program - filter out NeoGeo, mature, lightgun, trackball, majong, etc. Then I'll use Lightspeed to copy the filtered roms to a new folder, which i can then put on the retropie. Put the FBA romset + samples in the subfolders and open a command prompt, create an xml using the command: mame64 -listxml > listxml.xmlįeed the -listxml to lightspeed, and then use lightspeed to filter out all the crap I don't want. "FB Alpha v0.2.97.30.dat" is in the same folder as "fba-lr-no-clones-no-neogeo.xml", which makes me think it might not be a filtered 0.2.97.39 file. I just looked in the zip, and I think that file is outdated for the newest version of fba, but I'm not sure. That way I can switch around between different arcade emulators without messing up something that works fine. as far as keeping the neogeo roms separate, I think I'm going to do the same as you - keep them in their own folder.
